Get started early on your weekend of old-time fun! Come and sample some of Eugene’s finest brews and bands. Ask for the Mud City Keg and1st National will donate all proceeds to Mud City Old-Time Society. (All-ages until 8pm)
This is event is part of Mud City Old-Time Society’s third annual old-time music and dance celebration, the Willamette Valley Old-Time Social in Eugene, Oregon May 3rd-6th. The Social will include a Thursday night kickoff party 1st National Taphouse, a Friday night BBQ jam fest, and workshops on Saturday at The Shedd for old-time fiddle, banjo, guitar, dance and voice, including one with two-time Grammy-nominated fiddler Bruce Molsky and his Mountain Drifters! Saturday evening will offer flatfoot dance lessons with Rebecca Stout and a big traditional square dance with The Horsenecks and Gabe Strand calling at the W.O.W. Hall. The whole weekend will finish off with a Sunday brunch and later that evening, a farewell concert with The Local Honeys at Sam Bond’s Brewing.

Mud City Old-Time Society is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting traditional old-time music and dance in the Southern Willamette Valley.
