The Sunny Sky Boys (Joe Ross & Jerry Ashford) will perform an eclectic mix of entertaining jazz, bluegrass, country & western swing at a special public event for staff, supporters, sponsors, donors, patrons and volunteers of the Yoncalla Public Library located at 194 Birch St. Yoncalla, OR 97499.
A celebration of this year’s Summer Reading Program will acknowledge they had over 320 reading hours recorded! The Home Depot and Eagle Valley Supply were among the program supporters. Activities included a scavenger hunt book walk, special visit from the Kalapuya tribe where everyone made amazing necklaces and heard a great heirloom story! They built their very own tents to go camping in rain or shine! They also decorated their own kites.
Yoncalla Public Library is open on Wednesdays 10 am – 4 pm; Thursdays 4 – 7 pm; Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm. The library now has a social worker on-site from 4:30 – 6 pm to assist with accessing community resources.
