Kathy Kallick Band

Kathy Kallick’s exceptional career includes winning a Grammy and two IBMA Awards, receiving a Lifetime Membership from the California Bluegrass Association, co-founding the internationally-acclaimed Good Ol’ Persons, and collaborating with the country’s top acoustic musicians. The Kathy Kallick Band – including Annie Staninec (fiddle), Greg Booth (dobro, banjo), Tom Bekeny (mandolin), and Cary Black (acoustic bass) – is based along the West coast, from the San Francisco Bay Area to Anchorage, but their powerful mixture of original and classic music, mirroring their distinctive combination of traditional and contemporary sensibilities, has great appeal everywhere.

Cliff Perry and Laurel Bliss

Cliff Perry and Laurel Bliss are recognized veterans in the bluegrass and old-time music community of the Pacific Northwest, respected by their peers and loved by their fans. They began singing as a duet in the late 1980’s, making the recording “Old Pal” in 1993, awarded Best Old-Time Recording in 1994 by County Sales of Floyd, Virginia.

All concerts in the Bluegrass Special 2019 – 2020 Concert Series are held at Reedwood Friends Church 2901 SE Steele St., Portland, OR at 7:30 pm.
