Ash Creek explores the frontiers between bluegrass, folk, and traditional country music. They work hard to find songs that respect those traditions, but aren’t the same ol’ stuff. They like a good story, and a tune that veers where you don’t expect it, without giving you a case of whiplash. And they try to stay right in the pocket of what they’re good at, which is good, solid acoustic music, meant to be listened to.
