The Bluegrass Wednesday series continues on September 4 with the John Montgomery Band.

The John Montgomery Band is a bluegrass band based in Portland, Oregon. The band is known for its authentic traditional vocal presentation of the genre and includes some of the best instrumentalists in the area. While the band reaches into the past to call on the pioneers of the style, it’s not unusual to hear a modern influence in the arrangements of bluegrass standards. The band is made up of John Montgomery (guitar, lead vocals), Nick Marcantonio (bass), Seth Wiggins (banjo, harmony vocals), and Kaden Hurst (mandolin, harmony vocals).
