Two entertaining bluegrass/folk bands will perform Friday, Jan. 19 for the Portland FolkMusic Society. Misty Mamas serves up home-style bluegrass filled with powerful harmonies, traditional and original songs as well as tasty instrumentals combining bluegrass, old time, gospel, folk, and country. Fadin’ by 9 delivers hot-pickin, tight harmonies, and a mix of “bluegrassified” rock, folk, and bluegrass.
