The Butteville Store is Oregon’s oldest operating retail establishment. Founded in the early 1800’s, it’s located in the French Prairie area, about 25 minutes south of Portland enroute to Champoeg Park. It’s also host  to some good music; this Saturday night features the Jamblers, an acoustic variety-style band playing bluegrass, folk, country, alt-indie etc… just good music. Good food too, and the wines are delicious; try the Pinot Nois. Your presence helps preserve one of Oregon’s historic treasures.
